A Morning At Veterans Park

Saturday morning Gus and I went to the pet store to look at some new food for Jabez.  I found out on Wednesday that Jabez is allergic to the food I have been feeding him.  I was given two different food suggestions by a friend and I went to check them out.  We had to go to two pet stores to find the brands, but we found'em.  Jabez now has new food that is corn and grain FREE.  Hopefully this helps his scratching, eye mattering, and throwing up.

 On our way to the pet store we made a pit stop at the local Starbucks for coffee and a pumpkin scone!  Fall and winter at Starbucks is the time of year that my favorite coffee drinks come out.  While we were in the drive thru the girl working the window thought Gus was a cutie.  She gave me my scone, went back to get my coffee and came back with a small cup.  Right before I was about to tell her that this wasn't my coffee cup she told me it was a treat for the puppy.  Turned out it was small cup of whipped topping for Gus.  

 So once we got to the park I let him have a little and he had it all over his beard and nose!

 He enjoyed the park.  He did a lot of smelling.

 He did a lot of looking back at me.

 And this was the ride home.  Tired Puppy!

January Wreath

I finished the January wreath today.  Only one problem with it...I don't like the bow.  I feel the bow loops need to be a little puffier.

We set the Toilet on Wednesday night, I sealed the grout on Thursday, and I replaced the trim today.  It's finished!

Bathroom Tile Progress

 Finally back to working on the bathroom.  Today I grouted while Brian was working soccer.  When he got home we put down the tile to carpet wood strips, cut down the three doors and re-installed them.

 Linen closet.

 We will set the toilet tomorrow night and on Wednesday I can seal the grout.

 We are really happy with the way it is turning out.

This article was for an Emergency Action Plan Meeting and Demo that I had with my coaches at the school.  Lemak Sports Medicine wrote up a press release and the local paper picked it up.

Kitchen Tile Done!

It's done for the most part.  All I have left to do is seal the last little section and repaint the trim work at the base board.  This weekend we plan to start working on the tile in the bathrooms upstairs.
