March is National Quilting Month

I just learned tonight that March is National Quilting Month!

I learned this while reading through the Ann Arbor Quilt Guild website.  Tomorrow is the guild meeting in Ann Arbor and I'm thinking about going.

Out for a Run and a Walk

Last Sunday I went for a run around the small town of Whitmore Lake.

Brian's Birthday Week!

Brian was gone the week before his Birthday, but Gus and I had everyday the week he came back planned out with surprises.

 Tuesday night that week I made dinner and a special red velvet ice cream cake.

 Wednesday I surprised Brian with flowers at work.

 Mr. Potato head was Brian's Monday Birthday surprise and Mrs. Potato head was 

his Thursday surprise.

Quilting

I finihsed Matt's Flower Garden quilt.  It turned out really great and SO bright.  

This is what I am working on now.  I am quilting a purple and grey quilt just like this one for my Grandma.  It's a king size, so it is going to take awhile.
