Half Marathon or Half Crazy...
I started running half marathons in 2013 when I ran my first one with a good friend. We ran the Nashville Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon and the rest is history. Since that time I have set two personal half marathon goals for myself.
1. To run one half marathon a month for 12 months consecutively.
2. Run one half marathon in each of the 50 states.
So far I have run at least one half marathon a month since October 2015 and I have altered goal number 2... a little. Due to travel costs and expenses I have (for the time being), now allowed virtual half marathons to count for the 50 states goal.
My next 3 half marathons are virtual races in Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida, but I will run them here in Michigan. I will run the St. Jude Half Marathon in Linden, LA on February 6th, The Puppy Love Half Marathon for the Humane Society in Georgia on February 20th, and The Half Marathon of the Florida Treasure Coast in Stuart, FL on March 6th. I'll take the rest of March to recover and continue to train. I am currently looking at the possibility of running my April half marathon at the NFL Pro Hall of Fame Half Marathon on April 24th in Ohio.

MedSport Service Excellence Award
MedSport held there annual holiday party this past week at a local bowling alley, Revel and Roll. It is a a mix of fellowship between colleagues, heavy appetizers, bowling and appreciation of its employees. They also hand out there annual awards including Dr. O’Connor Award (In honor of Gerald O’Connor, MD and his legacy for our MedSport Sports Medicine Program, we would like to recognize an employee who embodies the qualities he embraced), and the Service Excellence Award (in honor of those clinicians, as recognized by their peers, that go beyond in service and care to fellow staff members and patients). Brian and I went to the party with no expectations, and ended up receiving the Service Excellence Award for the Northville Clinic, and enjoying of evening of bowling and visiting with co-workers. Such an honor.
Ann Arbor Restaurant Week
This last week was Restaurant Week in Ann Arbor and we went out three nights. Two of the three nights were new places we had never been.

Sunday night was the Gandy Daner
Dinner Monday night was at Vinology in Ann Arbor.
Wednesday night was dinner at The Chop House. This was the one restaurant we went to this same week last year during restaurant week.

I don't have pictures of Brian's salmon dish and my flank steak.

Snowy Sunday
It was a snowy Sunday here in Michigan. We might have gotten 3 inches at the apartment. It was a lazy Sunday for us. We went to the apartment complex workout gym for a quick workout and made a trip to Target.
