A Visit to Texas

It's official...Brian and I have added another trip for the summer.  We are going to attend a conference in South Padre, Texas in June.  Brian is speaking/presenting at the conference and I am attending as an Athletic Trainer.  We have plans to fly down a day early to enjoy the trip.  We are so excited for this opportunity!!  I (Jenn) am very excited because I was planning on staying

 behind here in Michigan.

Trying Something New

I spent my Saturday trying a new quilt idea.  It's a baby clothes keepsake quilt.  This is the quilt picture I used to create mine from.

This is what my finished quilt top looks like.  It's a baby girl quilt.

I need a bib and a hat to put in the two empty spaces at the bottom.

Completed Project...Better Late Than Never

My Friday night was spent finishing a table runner and pot holder project that I started when we were back in Birmingham.  All I had left to do was whip stitch the binding down on the back side.

Saturday morning breakfast was eggs and ham.
