Painting with a Twist

Friday night we went to Painting with a Twist and painted an Ethereal Tree painting.
We had a lot of fun!

Volunteered at the Food Pantry

Friday morning we volunteered at Food Gatherers, which the Ann Arbor Washtenaw County Food Pantry.  We were paired up with a group of 4H girls and their Mom's to pack boxes of non-perishable food items.  We had a lot of fun!  We are signed up to volunteer in the Food Gatherers Community Kitchen next Saturday to cook the meal for the day.

Greenfield Village Holiday Nights

On Tuesday night we went to Greenfield Village Holiday Nights.  This really is a great event and we had a lot of fun! The pictures are a bit deceiving because it was probably 20 degrees with snow on the ground and was snowing at times, but we still had fun and did not freeze.  The pictures at the bottom are the pictures that Brian took this year...they have snow on the ground.

The pictures below are the pictures that Brian took this year.

The above and below pictures were of the Pottery Shop. The above picture is of the potter making clay luminaries.
The picture below is of a gentlemen cutting the star cut outs out of a luminary and the lady is painting the clay pieces.
One of the many roads in the village.

The Glass Blowing Shop.  He was making a candy cane bowl.

This is a really neat place and is one of my favorites!

Oh Canada!

Tuesday we went to Canada to the Caesars Casino in Windsor, Canada.

Christmas Day

Bronner's Christmas Wonderland

Debbie (Jenn's Mom) came in on Friday on the Train.  Saturday we spent most of the day in Frankenmuth, MI at Bronner's Christmas Wonderland.  This is a Christmas store that is altogether 7.35 acres big and has a Christmas ornament for everybody and every occasion.  Brian and I had never been before, so this was an experience all around.
 The history of Bronner's

Brian met Mrs. Bronner.  Brian said that she is a very nice lady.
Just some of the Precious Moments that they sell.

Fun was had by all!!

Gus Saw Santa

It's been awhile since we have posted.  That is going to be one of our New Year Resolutions, to post on the blog more often.

On Saturday we took Gus to PetSmart to see Santa.  Gus was very good this year!  Gus also got to pick out a toy while we were there.
