Freezer Crockpot Meal Prep

Sunday we prepped 6 crockpot freezer meal recipes and doubled the recipe to give us a total of 12 dinners for when baby boy comes!  

Chicken pot pie soup 

Honey garlic chicken

Chicken cacciatore

Thai coconut beef with veggies

Lasagna soup

Beef stroganoff

Now we can just thaw and let the crockpot do the cooking!

In addition we have the makings for chili and red, beans, and rice!

Nothing Quite Like A Finished Quilt

 This quilt had it's challenges just like any other quilt I make.  The customer had a lot of great shirts, sweatshirts, ties, sports coat, etc. and it was a creative process to get it all combined into one quilt.  In the end it turned out well!

Baby Shower and Updates to Baby Boy's Room

New welcome sign and some Fall garland to welcome baby boy!

New shelves for the stuffed animals!  Glen and Brian installed them while Marsha and Glen were here visiting for the baby shower!  They turned out really nice!!

All the new books from the shower have been added to the bottom shelf, the decorative mobile from the shower decorations have been added in the corner and some bits of Fall have been added!

Closet is organized with all the wonderful baby shower gifts we received!  We needed some extra dresser storage with all the great blankets, burp clothes, bedding, etc!  These fabric dressers are a perfect fit!

There are a few more things to do before baby, but we are almost ready!  Count down is exactly one month out today!

Weeds in the Flower Beds

Weeds in the flower beds or between the paver stones are not a pregnant lady's friend!  Couple bags of dry concrete and problem solved!  No more weeds between the stones.

 

Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden

A benefit of visiting Ann Arbor in the late Spring is the Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden.  When the garden is in full bloom it is very pretty and fragrant. Wendy happened to be here at just the right time to catch the peak bloom.
