Weeds in the flower beds or between the paver stones are not a pregnant lady's friend! Couple bags of dry concrete and problem solved! No more weeds between the stones.

Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden
A benefit of visiting Ann Arbor in the late Spring is the Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden. When the garden is in full bloom it is very pretty and fragrant. Wendy happened to be here at just the right time to catch the peak bloom.
Wendy Comes For a Visit and A Quick Trip To Traverse City
Wendy came for a visit from June 8th-13th. We went to Traverse City for an overnight trip to see a Traverse City Pit Spitters game, see a bit of Traverse City, do some bourbon, mead, and wine tasting (well, at least Brian and Wendy got to taste 😊), and visit the Grand Traverse Light House. We had a good time and some great food!

This was a great trip and Brian and I look forward to a possible trip in the fall while on maternity leave to see the M22 Fall beauty and be what Traverse City calls "Leaf Peepers".
