Friday night I decided I was going to run a 10k with Laurie and her sister.
This is the famous Clanton peach water tower.
This was the crowd of runners at the starting line. I'm somewhere in there close to the front.

Crossing the finish line! And I WASN'T last! The last four or five tenths of a mile Laurie came out to help bring me to the finish line. The first question I asked her was am I last and she told me no. The last two miles of the race I kept looking behind me every now and then and NO one was back there.

Brian took this of Gus as we took off at the beginning and he said it was cute because Gus kept looking back and forth at the people crossing the line.
Chilton County Peaches (these peaches are a big deal down here) were the prizes for the top finishers in each age group and Laurie WON her age group!
