Early Sunday morning, all day Sunday, and into Monday morning it rain, poured, and RAINED some more. I think I heard someone in the physical therapy clinic Monday morning say that we had 5 1/2 inches of rain. Flash flooding was found all over Birmingham and the surrounding areas Monday morning. There were areas where people were rescued from homes and apartments by boat. I had to re-route on the way into work due to water over the road.
