Sewing Projects

Sewing Projects for the weekend were cuddle quilt and laundry room curtains.
This is the cuddle quilt.  Each year I have to make at least one cuddle quilt for the Birmingham Quilt Guild.  The cuddle quilts are donated to places like Children's Hospital for sick children to cuddle with.  The cuddle quilts aren't suppose to be big but rather big enough to cuddle with but small enough a child can handle it.  One side of the quilt must be at least 40 inches.

The second project of the weekend was the start of my curtains for the laundry room.  I hate the way the sheleeves in the laundry room look cluttered so I'm going to put up curtains on dowel rods to hide the clutter.  This fabric will be the main side of the curtain and I made them so that I could reverse them and use the back side as well.

Brian is holding the curtain panel up for me the opposite way it will be hung.

This is the reverse side of the curtain panel.  This side is meant to be bright colored.
