Stamping Wedding Invitations

With some of the extra downtime I have today I am return address stamping and putting postage stamps on the wedding invitation envelopes.  These won't go out until December but this knocks out two steps in the process of getting them ready.

Toledo Mud Hens Game

Saturday night Brian, Darryl, Mike, and I went to Toledo, Ohio for a Toledo Mud Hens baseball game.

Maiden Voyage

Saturday morning this weekend we took the kayak out for it's first trip.  It was a lot of fun.

Trip to Missouri!

Brian and I took a long weekend to head back home and see mom this past weekend.  Over the actual weekend, Brian attended a continue education course in St. Louis.  The night before his course, we went to a St. Louis Cardinals game (vs. the Colorado Rockies).

It was Lou Brock bobble head night at Busch Stadium.

This is down at the Landing in Hannibal where the River Boats Dock.
The Queen of the Mississippi was the boat that was docked in Hannibal the day we were there.
Saturday morning Mom and I went to the Farmers Market and found Pumpkin Blossoms.

We made fried pumpkin blossom and they were just as good as I remembered.
Mom and I did some test driving of a couple cars and this is the one that Mom chose.

Jenn Bought A Boat!

A pontoon boat!

Just kidding!  No pontoon boats for us.  Jenn bought a kayak and we are currently watching for a 12' kayak for Brian.  Brian and Darryl have named my kayak "The Minnow", after the SS Minnow from Gilligans Island.  We are taking it out for the maiden voyage tomorrow when we kayak Barton to Gallup, 5.7miles.

My fantastic and wonderful fiancĂ© helping me strap it to my car.

Even Gus has a life jacket so he can go with us.

Wendy Came to Town!

A couple weeks ago Wendy came to town to visit.  Friday night we went to Lansing, MI (which is the capitol of Michigan), to see a Lansing Lugnuts baseball game.  We had a great time at the game.  The Lugnuts beat the Dayton Dragons 18-1 (F).

The capitol building in Lansing, MI.  Don't mind the construction work.

On Saturday, because Gallup Park was already booked for the day, we ended up touring and showing Wendy downtown Ann Arbor, as well as the signs and sounds of the University of Michigan.

Saturday evening we had Zingerman's for Dinner.  Zingerman's Delicantessen is a famous deli in Ann Arbor.  Amazing food and service.

One of there claims to fame...the Reuben

Sunday we spent the day kayaking on the Huron River in Ann Arbor.  I don't have any pictures from the kayaking because I was worried my phone would get wet, but found ones online to make up for it. It ended up being a great day weather wise. We highly recommended the 5.7 miles from Barton to Gallup.
