Brian's Brother Chris and our friend Lesia came in to visit a couple weekends ago. We had a great weekend. We did some bar hopping on Friday night. Downtown Ann Arbor has TONS of great little places. We started out at a favorite place of ours, Old German. Known for their handcrafted beer and traditional German cuisine, we had a great time taking in the atmosphere, enjoyed some great tasting beer, and amazing appetizers.
Next, it was off to The Jolly Pumpkin. A place known for their handcrafted beer, and about everything on the menu, we enjoyed a couple of different beers, and there to die for truffle fries. AAAAAAMMMAZING!!!!!
Saturday we went to the Art Fair in Ann Arbor which is pretty big thing if you haven't heard or attended.
Tents and booths with all sorts of different art line the streets of Ann Arbor. Paintings, metalworkers, pottery, clothing, glass and just about anything you can think of can be found.
Art-Fair is made up of 4 different art fairs, which invade downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan main campus, attracting over 500,000 visitors each year.
After an exhausting day of walking around, we came back to the house, made dinner and put our feet in the pool.
On the way to take Lesia to the airport we stopped by the University of Michigan's Football field. Known as the Big House, it can hold 115,000 on any given football Saturday in the fall. Followed by driving to downtown Detroit, which Brian and I had not been too yet.
