Takorea

Saturday night we had dinner at a Mexican/Korean restaurant.  

 Brian had a rice bowl, I had tacos, and we shared sesame seasoned french fries.

Saturday Lunch at Mary Mac's Tea Room

Mary Mac's Tea Room is the only remaining tea room still left in service today.

Atlanta Braves Game

We had a great time at a FREE Braves game!  We got free tickets through a sales promotion at Home Depot.

Food Truck Park!

Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon we had lunch at the food truck park in Atlanta.  It was really good and fun!

 The round bowl is Chicken Tikka Masala.  It is an Indian curry dish.  The rectangular dishes are mac n cheese dishes.  The biscuit looking dish on the right were corn bread biscuits with bbq pork.  The two bottles are root beer and pineapple ginger soda.

Sunday Projects

Sunday we lounged around the house until 1pm. In the afternoon I worked on cutting the grass and then Brian and I worked on building two small flower beds out back behind the fence by the gate to show off the plumeria from his Grandma Boyls.

 

We also worked on trimming up the neighborhood sign.  The Home Owners Association is suppose to take care of this but they aren't real good with keeping up on things.  It took them almost two months to change the light blubs in the street lights that I had called in about.  So we did a little maintenance ourselves.
