This weekend was the last weekend we had around the house before preseason starts on August 1st. Next weekend we are taking a relaxing weekend away in Atlanta for a FREE Braves game and a couple others things.
We were able to accomplish many projects this weekend. Saturday morning the air conditioner maintenance guy came out to service the AC units (I think Brian enjoyed being able to learn a little about the AC system). Both ac units got a clean bill of health. Thirty minutes after the ac guy left the doorbell rang and it was our friend Matt stopping by to hang out. The only project that did not get photographed was the power washing of the house. Brian and Matt were busy with the headlights or holding the ladder for me so they didn't get any pictures of me power washing the house. Matt gladly helped with our list of projects for the day.
Brian cleaned my headlights and he did Matt's as well.
Much Better. They were really foggy from oxidation.
He felt the need to stick out his tongue for this one.
Matt is a good friend of mine from when I was at the University of Montevallo.
I think this picture is funny because if you look in the right hand corner you see a little panting dog :)
He played outside all afternoon and loved it.
We installed a motion light out front. Matt was great help with this (I'm not really tall enough to reach it).
The light really lights up the front of the house.
Before It got dark Saturday night Matt, Brian, and I went to Clanton, AL to the Peach Park for ice cream. I have pictures that I will post (you will probably have already seen the ice cream pictures because they will be above this post). When we got home I noticed we had a little friend on our flowers.
