This is Brian standing on the cement portion of the flood gate in Hannibal. The white portion you see behind him is the actual gate that can be taken out. The gates have already been put in and taken out 3 times and it runs the city about $9000 every time they are put in.
This is what is behind the flood gates. In a true flood you wouldn't be able to see any ground.
Flooding really can't be that bad at this point because the train is still running.

We have worn him OUT. Mom and I stopped in a shop and this is where we found Brian after a few minutes.

This concluded our trip to Missouri. After leaving Downtown Hannibal we went a couple blocks away from the river to the park to walk through the arts and crafts in the park.
