Saturday morning and afternoon was spent quilting. I was racing the clock to finish the quilting on Saturday so I could take the quilt to Hancock Fabrics on Sunday to sew on the binding (edging). My two sewing machines went to Michigan, so you can imagine my excitement when Hancock Fabrics told me I could use one of theirs.
A wonderful store manager at Hancock Fabrics helped get the bobbin wound and the machine threaded before she left me to my work.
I hand sewed the back of the binding on last night and washed it. I will give to the person who asked me to make it tonight and she will be surprised it is done.
