Brian took me to Dexter Cider Mill (Dexter, MI) Sunday morning. They are a local owned and operated cider mill. Brian tells me that there are several Cider Mills in the area, but his softball team highly recommended Dexter. Good choice UM Softball. Good choice Brian.
The cider is regularly bottled onsite. The cider we sampled and purchased was pressed and bottled this past week at the mill. The cider here at Dexter taste just like it does at home in Missouri. They also make doughnuts fresh daily onsite. We sampled a plane one, and bought some plane and cinnamon and sugar ones for breakfast. They were both very good.
The mill also produces other apple based products include apple bread, apple slushies, apple sauce, natural and vinegar related products and barbecue sauces.
