Thanksgiving Week: Arriving in Ann Arbor

Unfortunately, Gus couldn't make the trip to Ann Arbor to visit Brian this time, so he was dropped off at the Vet for the week.  Gus misses Brian, and was sad he couldn't go this time.  Hopefully next time I go up, it will be with Gus full-time.

A quick picture of Brian and I at the airport in Detroit.  Brian and I haven't seen each other since Brian flew back and moved everything up in early October.  Of course, we're warm in our Michigan gear.

At our home in Calera, our living room had a space cut in the wall for our TV.  In our apartment in Michigan, we needed a new stand for our TV in our living room.  So we ordered it, and had it delivered.  It looks really nice in our living room, and matches the other furniture.

After picking up our new TV stand, Brian took me to Briarwood Mall in downtown Ann Arbor.  It was really nice, and has a of different stores.

So I have been looking for a medal stand for my half- and full-marathon medals.  I found this one on-line, but it cost around $80.  In the mall, they had a art boutique store where different vendors can sell there art, and found the medal stand I've been looking for for only $30.

After the mall, Brian took me to Trader Joe's.  I've always wanted to go to Traders Joe's, but we didn't have one in Birmingham.  I really like the store and selection of food they had.  We ended up picking up wine and cheese for the week and for Thanksgiving.
